Youth Group News

College Dinner - The youth groups hosted an evening of food, fellowship and fun with students from Marymount University of Arlington, VA and the youth from Duncan Methodist Church. The college students were in Georgetown on their spring break repairing houses with UMRC. Duncan Methodist is providing their housing for the week. We had about 70 youth attend. They enjoyed a spaghetti dinner, played Ladder Footbal, Cornhole Toss, Ping-Pong, and Catchphrase. The college students shared with the youth what they will be doing in our community. Fish Fry - The youth group will be using a portion of the proceeds from the fish fry to shop for supplies for CASA (Citizens Against Spouse Abuse). Click here for photos.

Good Friday - The Jr. & Sr. Youth Groups will be attending St. Michael's Church in Garden City on Good Friday for the Living Stations of the Cross portrayed by their youth.

Bread and Soup Supper - On March 20th the youth group will be providing the soup supper after the Stations of the Cross.

Tara Hall - The Youth Group got together on December 7th and baked some goodies for the boys at Tara Hall. Click here for photos.

Christmas Party Ahoy - Dec. 14th was an afternoon yacht cruise and with a Christmas party aboard. Click here for Photos.

E.I. Adopted - The Jr. & Sr. Youth Groups have adopted a child through World Vision. They now claim to be the proud parents of a three year old little boy named E.I.

Bake Sale to be a Regular Occurrance - The Youth Group will be holding their Bake Sale after Mass on the second Sunday of each month. Proceeds will fund the various service projects and activities planned.
