Recently the Parish successfully completed the installation of a new copper roof on our beautiful and historic Church. Through your generosity we were able to pay for the roof with funds we had on hand.  The next priority of the long range plans for repairs and renovations to our Church campus is to restore and protect the stained glass windows, many of which are priceless.

Over the last few months, the Stained Glass Committee has been getting estimates and recommendations from 4 contractors that specialize in restoring windows. That committee, along with the finance committee, has chosen Shenandoah Restorations of Irmo, SC to complete the restoration. We feel they have the most expertise and best reputation to handle our job.  Now we need your help in raising the funds to complete the restoration. The total cost of the job is $150,000 of which we have $84,550.00 pledged.

We have pondered over the best way to raise the funds and have decided that we would like this to be a Parish effort so that everyone can participate.

The funds would need to be received by December 31, 2009. Please let us know if you can make a commitment to give a specific amount. As we continue to be stewards of the gifts from God and the people who have gone before us in our community, we ask that you prayerfully consider making a commitment to the restoration of our stained glass windows.

Once we have a firm dollar amount committed, our next step is to seek Diocesan approval for the project. Our preference is to complete the project at one time but we can also look at doing it in phases. Thanks for your continued generosity and support.
